Book review – ‘Beyond the Wall by Stephen Shore’

The book is for everyone, though it has been written on Autism. After reading two chapters of the book the message became very clear to me that everyone should read it. And completing the whole book I have no hesitation to say that everyone should read it. Because No one is perfect, and perfection is absent in the world.

In his early life, Mr. Stephen used to open watches , radios, electronics, etc. He could hear long pitch of sound. Cycling was his favourite.

Mr. Stephen he himself experienced his life in a book it has been said in the first of the book, nevertheless, I will say that it has been microscopic of the tiny and the reality is that the tiny is not tiny. A tiny is enough to destroy the whole thing. So the book is a very way to understand the human journey with fine-tuning.

Without entering the second chapter, in the meantime, Mr. Stephen is claiming that the option is for everyone. There should have been a chart that will direct you to make choice.

Because in my personal life, I believe that in our society, everyone is suffering or had suffered from autism. That could be for their coming from multiple locations, families, philosophy, etc. So it is unethical to desire the same result from the same everyone. But we will have to reach a standard.

In the 5th chapter, it is openly said that at any stage of life, a person can suffer from an autism spectrum.

And attachment to the atmosphere of a child, it may be with his mother, teacher, friend or any object can happen.

Before reading the book, the same sense was in me but I couldn’t express myself that way. And I think it is proof of my dormant idea. Thank you Mr. Stephen again, you have shown us the way to realize. And by reading the book 📕 A new sense has developed in me that is very important to share with others. To Understand a person by oneself is very helpful as a third eye is being burgeoned in the reader. That’s what happened to me. And what I think, of course, others will get the same.

Few musical names like James Taylor, Judy Collins, Arnold Schoenberg, Franz Schubert, etc. You had to dig more time to reach Gustav Mahler. It is not easy to wish to hear Gustav or others which you mentioned.

Desmond Morris is another reference by you, who is most importantly needed to analyze human behavior.

In the last, you attached a conversation with Mr. Rosen is also an important attachment to find the fact. And I agree with Mr. Rosen that is your mother. Because parenting is important not only for an autistic child but also for a normal baby.

And at the end, you urge the world to introduce openness in society which will explore the world.

Regarding your urge, I can say that the issue of autism has come to the attention of many people in our country Bangladesh now. Because our Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina herself is working to create awareness about this.

I would like to show my gratitude to Shuchona Foundation because of translating the book in Bengali name Pracheer Periye with the hope that it will help further the understanding towards ASD among Bangla readers at home and abroad.

Shuchona Foundation’s Chairperson Saima Wazed is a licensed School Psychologist, an advisor to the Director-General of WHO on Mental Health and Autism, and CVF’s Thematic Ambassador for Vulnerability. Currently, she is an Instructor and Clinic Supervisor at Adrian Dominican School of Education (ADSOE), Barry University, USA. I also want to thank her very much.

Beyond the Wall: Personal Experiences with Autism and Asperger Syndrome. The Book by Stephen Shore is not a book only on Autism it says many more on social autism.

We are also hopeful with you that there were only three books in 1935, now it’s 338 (three hundred thirty-eight) books on autism.
