Recently Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi came to Dhaka to attend a seminar, and he made this call on January 13, 2023, Friday while visiting the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32 of the capital. He also signed the visitor’s book there. What he wrote there?

“I have no words to express my emotions & feelings. This place is truly a pilgrimage, a holy place of worship for all those who believe in human dignity, liberty, justice, and well-being of humankind.

This place is beyond any limit of geography and time, because Bangabandhu himself is soul- universal and immortal.

My wife Sumedha and I am so touched! The inspiration, resolve and energy I take from here will remain with my whole of my life.

Finally I pray, hope and wish that the violence, cruelty and barbarism took place here will end and must end for ever and everywhere. The world can be humane and civilized only when not a single bullet is produced and used.

I salute the courage and humanity of our beloved Apa – Sheikh Hasina as a living legend.”
