13th anniversary, 31st BCS Cadre Association, 15 January, 2026.

It can be said with normality that all the members of the BCS 31st batch have felt very good after walking the path together for thirteen long years.

On January 15, 2013, about two thousand members of the 31st BCS joined their respective duties. And from that time on, they formed the 31st BCS Cadre Association to walk their path together.

Along the long journey, they have been working equally with children’s rights, women’s rights, tree plantations, organizing various festivals, and various creative publications. This cadre organization has been working equally with those since the beginning.

This year too, they have published special supplements in English and Bengali on International Children’s Day (Some Pictures and Poems of Children’s Day, No Voice is Louder than Our Children’s). In addition to planting trees on World Environment Day, they have also published an online publication (Green Your Earth) on the subject.

Aktarunnessa, the first woman and current general secretary of this association, said that I have been enriched with experience in many ways by being able to walk with people from 26 cadres.

I am proud to be with everyone on this journey of the 31st BCS Cadre Association.

The following are the people this association has lost due to death since joining the 31st BCS cadre: Sabbir Ahmed Sarfaraz – BCS (Police), Anisul Karim Shipon – BCS (Police), Omar Farooq – BCS (Tax), Binita Rani Roy – BCS (Tax), Anupam Pal – BCS (Education), Subrata Adhikari – BCS (Audit), Sani Khan Majlish – BCS (Fisheries), Hawlader Khairul Islam – BCS (Education)

On the occasion of the thirteenth anniversary and entering the fourteenth year of the association, the president and poet Abdullah Al Hadi sought prayers from everyone for his deceased batchmates.

He (Abdullah Al Hadi) said that in the present era, it is a great capability for people from 26 cadres to be able to work together for a long time, which only the 31st BCS Cadre Association has been able to achieve with relative success. ‘I have been very blessed to have worked with this organization since its inception. This has been possible only because of the love of all my batchmates. I wish them all continued success.’

Members of the organization say that renowned artists from home and abroad have performed music and poetry under the prestigious banner of this organization at various times.

In addition, various poets and intellectuals from home and abroad have participated in seminars on various issues.

In 2023, child rights activist and Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi came to participate in one of their seminars, and in 2022, Egyptian poet and writer Mohssen Al Arishi participated in another seminar.

The discussion and poetry reading of Bangladeshi poet Nirmalendu Goon has especially enriched everyone in this association.

In addition, Rockstar James, Subir Nandi, Joler Gaan, Chirkut Band, Khalid of Chime Band, Close-up-One fame Ashiq, Mehedi, the Surbnam song group, Baul artist Shafi Mondal, Sameer Baul, renowned Indian music artist Anjan Dutt, recitation artist Medha Banerjee and many others have performed music and recitation under their banner at various times.
